1. CODA (Commission on Dental Accreditation – USA) Yeditepe University Faculty of Dentistry has become the first in Europe and second worldwide to receive CODA accreditation. With this accreditation, our diploma is valid in all countries where U.S. diplomas are recognized.
Purpose:
- To ensure the highest quality standards in dental education
- To align clinical practices with U.S. dental schools
- To enable students to graduate with an internationally recognized diploma
- To promote continuous improvement and excellence in education and practice

ADEE (Association of Dental Education in Europe)
Following an audit on January 16, 2008, our faculty's education was documented to meet European standards. The aim of the Association of Dental Education in Europe is to achieve the highest education standards in dentistry, enhance all practice and assessment methods, facilitate the participation of educators and students in exchange programs, and measure the benefits derived from the process.
European Federation of Periodontology (EFP) – PST Graduate Program
Accredited on November 2, 2005, for postgraduate education.
The goal is to improve periodontal health in Europe, enhance periodontology education, maximize periodontology education, and promote unity among countries. Established in 1991, the European Federation of Periodontology includes Austria, Belgium, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, Germany, Denmark, Spain, France, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Ireland, Israel, the Netherlands, Portugal, Poland, Finland, Slovenia, the United Kingdom, Norway, and Sweden.
